CircularSaver (“we”, circularsaver.com) operates CircularSaver for US households (Atlanta pilot). This policy describes what personal information we collect, why, and your rights under the California CCPA/CPRA and similar US state consumer privacy laws.

We respond to verifiable consumer requests within the timelines required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with extensions when permitted).
Information we collect
Account: email, name, address, city, ZIP code, approximate coordinates, diet/budget preferences, favorite retailers, and search radius.
Usage: grocery lists, searches, contact messages, beta feedback, and Premium subscription (payments processed by Stripe).
Technical: authentication session cookies, language preference, server logs (IP, timestamps, user-agent).
Security: bot verification at registration.
Purposes
Provide circulars, price comparison, lists, and price history near your ZIP.
Personalize the experience based on preferences and location.
Process payments and manage Premium.
Maintain site security and prevent fraud.
AI features (menus/lists): content generation from your preferences — no automated decisions with legal effect on you.
Your rights (CCPA/CPRA and similar)
Right to know / access, correct, and delete personal information.
Right to opt out of sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell personal data for money; if we use advertising cookies with consent, you may refuse them).
Right to limit use of sensitive personal information where applicable.
Portability: JSON export from Profile → Export my data.
Deletion: Profile → Delete my account, or email support@circularsaver.com.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Retention & processors
Active account: retained while your account exists.
After deletion: profile and lists are erased; some support records may be kept up to 24 months.
Technical logs: up to 12 months.
Stripe billing records: as required by legal/accounting obligations.
Typical processors: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), auth (Firebase), payments (Stripe), email (PurelyMail), media (Cloudinary), circular data (third-party flyer sources / Flipp).
Minors
CircularSaver is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a minor created an account, contact support@circularsaver.com to request deletion.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
